Success Story : PSD Jr. High Autism Class Trip Fundraiser

Why Janice recently won the 2007 Easter Seals Art Contest. In celebration of this honor, Meko’s Gallery & Framing hosted a fundraiser featuring Ms. Lawrence’s recent works. The event included a silent auction of Ms. Lawrence’s floral paintings, door prizes and gift buying opportunities.   Profits raised at the event were donated to the PSD Jr. High Autism class trip fund.  
Results

The auction was really fun.  Several of the students in the class were are greeters!  It was incredible to see these kids welcome people with a smile, encouraging people to sign up for the door prize and get guests excited about seeing the show.

The door prize, a 3' x5' poster of Come Hither was won by Amy Cesar, the caseworker in charge of the Preston Austism class. Perfect!

All of the pictures were auctioned off and many boxes of cards were sold. We are well on our way to a great day at the Denver Science Museum.
